About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets CQC regulatory requirements, local authority standards, and the needs of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to the care team, promoting a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the home care service, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance and ensure the service meets or exceeds CQC standards.
- Manage care planning, risk assessments, medication, safeguarding, audits, and quality assurance.
- Recruit, train, support, and develop staff to uphold high performance and retention.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with local authorities, NHS partners, families, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet service demand.
- Manage budgets, rota systems, and operational performance KPIs.
- Lead investigations, complaints handling, and incident reviews in line with policy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Registered Manager experience in domiciliary care.
- Verifiable track record with CQC compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act, CQC regulations, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and remain calm under pressure.
