Companionship Care Workers / PA’s Required
Job Overview / Responsibilites:
Our firm is seeking a professional Carer / Personal Assistant to help support care for our clients in their own home and maximise their independence. Family Run Care Business, established over 3 years ago.
- We assist our clients in their activities of daily living, Domestic tasks and Personal care. This can be from cooking and cleaning, bathing and pampering or being taken out on day trips, and/or escorting them to appointments.
- We assist clients in their garden, or go for walks with them as quite often they lack confidence in going alone. Take clients out shopping, or go shopping for them.
- Escort clients to their favourite past time including Bridge club, Football matches or just a simple trip down memory lane.
- Provide companionship and build trusting friendships. Sometimes just to talk and to offer reassurances if needed, either with a cup of tea or over the phone.
- We offer a sitting service to help relieve/provide respite for clients family members.
Experience:
- Full training is provided, but 1+ year experience within Care is desired.
Pay / Contracts Available:
- Full, Part Time and Bank Positions Available.
- Shift patterns vary, open to chat about candidates requirements.
- Starting rate of £13.50ph increasing to £14.00ph following successful 3 month probation period.
- Free Training & Recognised Qualifications Awarded.
Requirements:
- Flexible, must be able to work evenings, alternate weekends.
- Full Driving Licence required with access to a vehicle.
- Male and Female positions available.
