Pay rate Β£12.21 per hour plus mileage

Contracts up to 39 hrs per week

28 days leave per year

Alternate weekends required

5 days over a 7-day period, with varying shift patterns as agreed with the manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies, procedures, and standards under the guidance of the Senior Carer/Nurse
  • Supporting and enabling service users to maintain skills and personal interests while delivering person-centred care tailored to each individual
  • Maintaining current skills and undertaking necessary training and development to enhance knowledge and practice
  • Ensuring service users are at the centre of care delivery, respecting their wishes and preferences to promote wellbeing
  • Contributing to the efficient running of the service
  • Supporting service users in maintaining relationships with the local community
  • Following care plans and other relevant information to support service users
  • Reporting any changes in the needs of service users to the Senior Carer/Nurse
  • Developing effective working relationships with colleagues
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maximize opportunities for service users

Previous experience is ideal but not essential, as training including shadowing and double-ups will be provided.
