Contracted Hours (Over a 2-week rotating schedule):
Full time 07.00-14.00 & 16.00-22.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
Part-time contracted 09.00-15.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
Part-time contracted 07.00-14.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
Part-time contracted 16.00-22.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Role Overview β What You\βll Do:As a Care Support Worker at LQCS, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual\βs needs β directly in the comfort of their own home.
Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, shaving, dental care)
Supporting with and administering medication as per care plans
Helping with meal preparation, hydration, and monitoring nutrition intake
Carrying out safe moving and handling practices
Light domestic tasks (e.g. washing dishes, changing linen, emptying bins)
Providing companionship and stimulating conversation
Promoting client independence and encouraging participation in daily activities
Recording care tasks using the CareBerry App
Raising any safeguarding concerns promptly according to LQCS procedures
Following company policies and staying within the boundaries of your role
What We\βre Looking For:
A kind, compassionate and empathetic approach
Strong communication and listening skills
Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
A commitment to upholding high standards of care
Experience in care is welcomed but not essential β full training provided
Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required
