Job Description
Care/Compliance Co‑ordinator in Newcastle Under Lyme providing support in ST1, ST3, ST5, ST6 and ST7. Permanent contract with on‑call duties.
About the Organisation
Founded in 2005, Archangel Care began with a single, locally based residential unit for adults with learning disabilities and has grown year on year.
We provide care and support for elderly customers who wish to remain in their own homes, some with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs.
We tailor support to help them live a happy and fulfilled life, supporting them with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and general domestic tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review person‑centred support plans and risk assessments.
- Complete compliance checks across staff, including supervisions, spot checks, competency assessments and training/shadowing requirements.
- Conduct client quality monitoring calls and visits.
- Perform audits.
- Attend reviews and professional meetings.
- What We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)
- Excellent understanding of legislation and experience supporting an established team to ensure service provision is individualised and person‑centred.
- Extensive care experience and previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience carrying out medication supervisions, care certificate observations, spot checks, quality monitoring calls and visits to customers.
- Organisational skills, excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to build positive professional relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Good judgement and sense of responsibility with limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate within a diverse environment.
- Car driver with access to own vehicle and business insurance.
- Availability for on‑call duties (1 night per week and every fourth weekend).
