Care Assistants – Days, Nights and Bank – Farnham, Surrey

Shifts: Night – 9.00pm to 8.00am, Early – 8.00am to 2.30pm, Late – 2.30pm to 9.00pm

  • We are recruiting for Care Assistants at our 3 homes in Farnham.
  • Hatch Mill – part time care assistant, 26 hours per week working a mix of early and late shifts. Must be able to work alternate weekends.
  • Hatch Mill – part time night care assistant, Saturday night, 10.5 hours per week.
  • Hatch Mill – alternate weekend care assistant, 6.5 hours per week.
  • Wey Valley House – part time care assistant, alternate Sunday late shift, 3.25 hours per week.
  • Ridgway Court – part time care assistant, 19.5 hours per week working a mix of early and late shifts. Must be able to work alternate weekends.
  • Bank Care Assistants also required for day and night shifts.
  • The role will involve provision of hands on high standards of care to our elderly residents.

  • You will be required to:

    • Support residents\’ daily needs.
    • Give medication.
    • Provide washing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.
    • Assist at meal times.
    • Support residents with their mobility.

    Hourly Pay:

    Early and late shifts start from Β£12.60 per hour rising to Β£12.65 per hour with a Care Certificate. If you have an NVQ2 (in Health and Social Care) and a Care Certificate, the rate is Β£13.40 per hour.

    Night shifts start from Β£12.70 per hour rising to Β£12.75 per hour with a Care Certificate. If you have an NVQ2 (in Health and Social Care) and a Care Certificate the rate is Β£13.50 per hour and with an NVQ3 (in Health and Social Care) and a Care Certificate, it is Β£14.25 per hour when working as the designated person.

    Weekend hours are uplifted by an additional Β£2.00 per hour.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience desirable but not essential.
    • NVQ2 or NVQ3 desirable but not essential.
    • Live in a 10 mile radius of Farnham.
