Overview
Location: Gloucester/Cheltenham: GL53, GL52, GL51, GL50, GL1 and GL4
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour and 30p per mile

What you’ll do
- Provide personal care and daily living support to our service users.
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice.
- Work closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow individual care plans to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective care tailored to each service user’s specific needs and diagnosis.
- Read and follow the service user’s care plan before undertaking any duties.
- Build positive, respectful, and professional relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all service users.
- Be sensitive to emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
- Follow organisational policies on medication, safeguarding, and staff conduct.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly.
Personal Care Duties
You may be required to support with:
- Washing, bathing, and use of bath aids.
- Assisting with grooming (e.g. shaving, washing hair, nail and oral care).
- Dressing and undressing.
- Pressure area care and catheter care.
- Toileting, including colostomy care。
- Safe moving and handling of service users.
- Making and changing beds.
