Overview
Location: Northampton – NN12, NN13, NN11 and OX17
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour and 30p per mile
Shifts
7am – 1pm and 4pm – 9pm
Alternate weekend availability essential

What you’ll do

Provide personal care and daily living support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective care tailored to each service user’s specific needs and diagnosis.

Read and follow the service user’s care plan before undertaking any duties.

Build positive, respectful, and professional relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all service users.

Be sensitive to emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.

Follow organisational policies on medication, safeguarding, and staff conduct.

Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly.
Personal Care Duties
You may be required to support with:

Washing, bathing, and use of bath aids.

Assisting with grooming (e.g. shaving, washing hair, nail and oral care).

Dressing and undressing.
-
Pressure area care and catheter care.
-
Toileting, including colostomy care.
-
Safe moving and handling of service users.

Making and changing beds.
