We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands starting in January 2025. Please note this role is a maternity cover. Our client is in his forties and we are looking for a support worker to assist him with appointments as well as supporting with the care that is required. Our client has physical limitations as well as memory processing & confidence issues. Due to the responsibilities required, we are only able to consider applicants who hold a full UK Drivers License.
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with personalised routines.
- Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
- Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
