Our nursery is located in the picturesque village of Bourton On The Water, known for its beautiful surroundings and community spirit. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Our dedicated team of professionals work closely with families to ensure children receive the best possible start in life.
We are seeking level 2 and 3 qualified nursery practitioners to join our growing team. As a nursery practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children within our care. Your duties will include engaging with children, implementing educational activities and ensuring well-being needs are met.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare
- 8:00am - 6:00pm
- 4 - 5 days per week
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Undertake observational assessments for a small group of key children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
- Assist with meal times, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Change nappies and assist with potty training as needed
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children
- Experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to drive the learning process by planning and implementing educational activities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficient in English language
- Ability to work as part of a team
