We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care with professionalism and empathy. The Care Assistant will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those in their care.
Please note: this role includes working every Saturday and Sunday (long days) and one evening per week.
Responsibilities & Duties- Personal Care: assisting with bathing, showering, toileting, dressing and continence care.
- Medication Support: administering medication, completing EMARS and recording daily notes.
- Mobility Support: helping with mobility around the home, including using hoists or equipment.
- Daily Living Assistance: preparing meals, shopping, and performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Social & Emotional Support: offering companionship, combating loneliness, and engaging clients in social activities or hobbies.
- Must be compassionate, caring, patient and friendly.
- Must have a full & clean driving licence.
- Access to your own car.
- Must be authorised to work in the UK - we are unable to provide sponsorship.
- NQV Level 2 / 3 is desirable but not essential.
- Every Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm & 4pm - 8pm.
- One evening a week (flexible).
