As an HR Business Partner at Barchester, you'll deliver a professional, business-focused HR service that meets the needs and KPIs of three regions encompassing around 30 care homes. Your role will involve working closely with General Managers and Regional Directors to support them across all aspects of employee relations and engagement. With operational excellence front of mind, you'll provide support in person, over the phone, via email, and through coaching, training and mediation.

One of your key focuses as an HR Business Partner will be providing your regions with employee absence and turnover analysis, before developing, agreeing and monitoring action plans. You'll need to support the management of high-risk cases that could include disciplinaries and appeals, and any litigation matters. Your remit will also include delivering inductions for managers in your region, HR-related training and Employee Services briefings and presentations. Across everything you do, you'll look to develop and maintain excellent working relationships so that you can develop seamless processes and the most robust solutions.

We're looking for an HR Business Partner with solid experience in a similar role. If you have a relevant professional qualification, this would be ideal; we'd certainly like to see a thorough working knowledge and application of employment legislation. You'll be someone who enjoys tackling a varied workload and you'll be adept at both written and verbal communication. A great communicator, collaborator and problem solver, you're always committed to delivering the highest standards in everything you do. Travel across the three regions is required, so flexibility is important.

As well as a competitive salary, we can offer you great benefits which would include: a bonus, contribution pension scheme, and free training and development. You'll also have plenty of opportunity to grow your career in a large organisation with a warm and supportive environment.

If you'd like to use your enhanced people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you'd expect for your loved ones, this is an empowering and rewarding place to be.
