The home provides specialist nursing, dementia, residential respite, and end-of-life care, alongside short-term respite stays for individuals recovering from illness or hospital admission and those requiring temporary support. The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care while leading and supporting the care team throughout your shift. Working closely with residents, families, nurses and colleagues, you'll help ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently achieved. You'll act as a role model for the team, supporting colleagues while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for every resident.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the care team during day shifts
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting medication administration and monitoring
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation

- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the care team
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding care and enjoys leading and motivating others. You will have:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader or similar role within a nursing, residential or dementia care setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia
- Medication administration experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A compassionate, proactive and team-focused approach
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care
