Borovere is a 34 bedded residential home with some people living with early onset dementia. We are a not-for-profit company, so everything goes back into the home to provide those little extras for the residents. Borovere is part of a bigger organisation called Greensleeves which has 28 homes in total around the country.
We are looking to employ Carers to work night or day shifts part time, in our beautiful residential care home. This position would be suitable for candidates who are caring and compassionate individuals and no previous experience in care is needed as full induction and on-going training is provided. We also have a variety of shifts on offer, these include morning and afternoon shifts and the successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
Successful candidates will be required to provide references, and the appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, cost of which is met by the employer. Working in care is extremely rewarding so why not apply today?
Responsibilities:- To share with staff in meeting the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence.
- Assist residents who require help with washing and dressing, to use the toilet, help with mobility.
- Monitor the needs of the residents and report to the senior team any concerns.
- Promote mental & physical activities for residents.
- Make and change beds, do light cleaning and empty commodes.
- Work as a team, help each other out in every area of the home.
- Part time only - 2 to 3 shifts per week
- Alternate weekend availability essential
- 9pm to 8am
- £12.88 per hour
- £13.26 per hour - Level 2
- £13.51 per hour - Level 3
