We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a busy Occupational Health service on a temporary basis for an initial 3 to 6 month contract.

This role is 2 to 3 days per week, fully onsite, with flexibility required around working days. The main focus will be Occupational Health case management, alongside supporting health surveillance activity and supervising an Occupational Health Technician.

Duties

  • Manage a varied caseload of face-to-face Occupational Health referrals
  • Complete management referrals and provide clear, evidence-based OH advice
  • Carry out health surveillance where required
  • Provide clinical supervision to an Occupational Health Technician and sign off relevant work
  • Undertake workplace ergonomic assessments
  • Complete factory visits and provide appropriate Occupational Health guidance
  • Attend monthly onsite Health & Safety meetings
  • Maintain accurate and confidential Occupational Health records

Criteria

  • Qualified Occupational Health Advisor with a recognised Occupational Health qualification
  • Previous experience delivering Occupational Health case management
  • Experience of health surveillance within an Occupational Health setting
  • Confident providing clinical oversight and signing off Occupational Health Technician work
  • Ability to undertake ergonomic assessments and workplace or factory visits
  • Flexible regarding working days and able to work fully onsite
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

Salary & Benefits

  • £40 to £42 per hour
  • Temporary contract for approximately 3 to 6 months
  • 2 to 3 days per week
