What you will do
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Prepare patients and equipment for seamless procedure operations.
- Operate imaging equipment during interventions to provide essential diagnostic information.
- Maintain radiation safety standards, protecting patients and staff alike.
- Support multidisciplinary teams during interventional procedures, contributing your unique skills and insights.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols to uphold the highest standards of care.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- A qualification in diagnostic radiography.
- Experience in interventional radiography.
- NHS experience.
- Knowledge of radiation protection regulations.
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous Band 6 Interventional Radiography experience.
- Acute hospital experience.
- Experience within specialist interventional services.
