What you will do:
- - Assess and manage patients with Head and Neck conditions
- - Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy interventions
- - Assess communication and swallowing difficulties
- - Develop and review patient treatment plans
- - Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues
- - Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- - Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records and reports
- - Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care
Requirements:
- - Degree or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- - HCPC registration
- - Experience working as a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist
- - Proficiency in assessing and managing dysphagia
- - Ability to independently handle a specialist caseload
- - Excellent communication skills along with teamwork experience
- - Previous experience in NHS Speech and Language Therapy
- - Experience within specialist Head and Neck services
- - Proficiency in delivering advanced dysphagia interventions
