Paramedic / ANP – Primary Care (Same Day Care)

Are you an experienced Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking to work at the forefront of same day primary care?
We’re working with a busy GP practice seeking a confident clinician to join their duty team, managing acute presentations and supporting same-day demand. Following the success of their current Paramedic, they’re expanding the team.
The Role
You’ll work alongside Duty Doctors to assess and treat a wide range of acute and minor illness presentations, including both telephone triage and face-to-face consultations, with occasional home visits.
This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same, ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy and clinical challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and minor illness
Managing presentations such as infections, minor injuries, abdominal pain, rashes & more
Triage via phone and deliver face-to-face care
Creating treatment plans and arranging follow-ups/tests
Supporting patients with health promotion and self-care
Helping reduce unnecessary hospital admissions
What We’re Looking For
Paramedic or ANP with relevant registration (HCPC / NMC)
Experience in Primary Care and/or Minor Illness
Confident working autonomously
Experience treating both adults and children
EMIS experience
