We are seeking a reliable and organised Medical Receptionist to join a friendly GP surgery team on a temporary remote basis from 1st June until around September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous GP or healthcare reception experience who is confident working independently while providing outstanding patient service.
Working Hours (Likely Schedule)
- Monday: 8:30am β 1:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am β 1:00pm
- Thursday: 8:30am β 1:00pm (potentially 2:00pm β 5:00pm if required)
- Friday: 8:30am β 1:00pm and 2:00pm β 6:00pm
Flexibility to cover additional hours if needed would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and managing incoming patient calls
- Booking and cancelling appointments
- Processing prescription requests
- Handling new patient registrations
- Scanning and filing documents electronically
- Providing front desk administrative support remotely

About You
- Previous experience working in a GP surgery or medical setting (preferred)
