We are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a GP surgery in Newcastle.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive primary care team, with part-time and full-time hours available, making the role suitable for nurses looking for either a new permanent position or greater flexibility around their existing commitments.
The Role
As a Practice Nurse, you will provide a range of clinical services to the practice population, working alongside GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Long-term condition management
- Diabetes, COPD and asthma reviews
- Wound care
- Cervical screening
- Immunisations and vaccinations
- QOF
- Patient education and health promotion
About You
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who is confident working within a GP practice and able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider clinical team.
Primary care experience is preferred, along with the relevant clinical competencies required for the role.
