Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Overview

Healthii People are recruiting on behalf of a GP practice in Stoke. With over 15,000 patients across two sites, this practice is expanding and is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their supportive team.

You’ll be stepping into a practice where ANPs lead on patient care and work within a positive, collaborative nursing environment. Previous primary care experience is not essential, but prescribing is required. Specialist interests are welcome and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nurse practitioner-led care in a GP practice setting
• Prescribe medications as required
• Lead on patient care within a collaborative nursing team
• Support induction and ongoing training for the team
• Develop specialist clinical interests and contribute to service development
• Engage with upcoming premises expansion and evolving services
• Utilise EMIS Web and work within a multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications and requirements

• Prescribing qualification is required
• Previous primary care experience is not essential
• Interest in specialist areas is welcomed and encouraged
