Fixed-Term Contract Location: Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, Gwynedd

Contract Duration: Fixed term until 30th June

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm)

Salary: Β£30,000 per annum (pro rata)

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Patient Booking Team Lead to join our team. This role is key to ensuring a seamless patient booking experience while supporting the efficient delivery of services on-site. You will play an important role in improving patient pathways, supporting operational delivery, and contributing to projects that enhance service efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Role Summary: This is a site-based, non-clinical leadership role. You will lead the patient booking team to deliver a high standard of service, ensuring patient experience remains at the forefront of all activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the patient booking process on-site
  • Lead, support, and develop team members through training and guidance
  • Handle escalated booking queries, ensuring timely and professional resolution
  • Produce daily booking reports and provide feedback to management
  • Generate regular performance and activity reports
  • Ensure clinic schedules are planned and utilised 3-4 weeks in advance

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally within the NHS
  • Experience within healthcare settings
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Desirable:

  • Experience using EPIC systems
  • Experience in Endoscopy is desirable

Education And Experience:

  • GCSEs or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a team leadership or supervisory role (preferred)
