Due to continued growth, we are recruiting Healthcare Assistants on a zero-hours contract to support HealthHarmonie clinics across the Thames Valley region.

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will support the effective day‑to‑day running of outpatient clinics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting stock and equipment for clinics
  • Setting up and preparing examination rooms for clinicians
  • Acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures
  • Supporting clinic administration, ensuring reports are completed accurately and outcomes recorded
  • Assisting with wider administrative tasks as required

Your role will be vital in ensuring clinics run smoothly and that patients receive a compassionate, efficient, and high‑quality experience. This is a mobile role, and you will be required to travel to clinic locations throughout the Thames Valley, depending on service demand and operational requirements. Services operate seven days a week, and work will be offered on a zero-hours basis, with shifts typically between 07:00/07:30 and 17:30/18:00. Availability to work across weekdays and weekends is essential.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • IT literate and confident using computer systems
  • A strong commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care
  • Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working in a mobile role
  • Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential.

Training & Compliance

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive two‑week training programme from day one, equipping them with all the skills and knowledge required for the Healthcare Assistant role. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the appropriate level and verification of right‑to‑work documentation.
