Your Day in the Life of a Clinical Stock Coordinator:
As a Clinical Stock Coordinator, you will play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring our clinical teams have the stock and equipment they need to provide safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
Based at our Head Office in Edgbaston, Birmingham, you will be responsible for managing clinical stock, coordinating equipment servicing and maintenance, and supporting clinics across the region through timely stock distribution and deliveries. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth running of our services and help ensure clinicians can focus on delivering the best possible patient experience.
No two days will be the same. From organising stock transfers and conducting inventory audits to liaising with suppliers and coordinating equipment repairs, you'll be a key member of the operations team. You'll work closely with Clinical Operations colleagues, external service providers, and clinic teams, ensuring communication is clear, proactive, and solutions-focused.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical stock at our Birmingham Head Office, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, packing, and distribution of stock.
- Coordinate stock transfers and deliveries to clinics, including urgent and emergency stock requirements.
- Arrange servicing, repairs, and maintenance of clinical equipment in line with manufacturer guidance and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to ensure equipment is maintained efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Communicate equipment issues, servicing updates, and operational impacts promptly to the Clinical Operations team.
- Provide regular updates to clinics regarding equipment status, repairs, and servicing schedules.
- Conduct stock audits and inventory checks to maintain compliance, accuracy, and operational readiness.
- Receive and process incoming stock deliveries from suppliers.
- Maintain clean, organised, and safe stock storage areas at all times.
- Prepare and pre-pack stock for clinic collections and scheduled distributions.
About You:
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys being part of a team that makes a real difference to patient care.
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, logistics, or a similar coordination role, ideally within healthcare or a clinical environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident managing competing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clinics, suppliers, and service providers.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
- Physically able to move and handle stock safely when required.
- A commitment to maintaining high operational and safety standards.
The Role Details:
- Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent
- Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
- Hours: 24 hours per week
- Working Pattern: 3 days per week
- Salary: £24,000 per annum (pro rata)
