Contract and Hours: Fixed term contract lasting 3–6 months, 37.5 hours per week (Monday‑Friday). Hybrid: 3 days on site, 2 days remote. Salary: £24,979 per annum.

Role Summary: Client‑site‑based role pivotal to the non‑clinical function. Check referrals from other acute service teams or GPs for patient suitability to be seen within Medinet clinical units. Contact suitable patients to offer appointments in line with trust/health board policy and record booking outcomes on Medinet and client systems. Ensure patients receive and understand all required information and medication prior to appointments, escalating clinical queries to a nursing team member. Log and administer all patient contact in line with required processes. Prepare patient notes and historical health information in readiness for appointments, sometimes on short notice. Provide accurate, timely reporting of appointment outcomes to schedule follow‑up clinical activities and facilitate billing of services from Medinet to Trust/Health Board clients. Support clinical function in audit activities, including checking historic patient outcome data or assisting in stock‑piling/ordering of equipment and consumables. Actively engage and contribute to continuous improvement of care within Medinet by identifying operational and policy‑related changes.
Essential Requirements: Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally within the NHS. Respiratory experience preferred; otherwise, candidates with medical or healthcare experience will also be considered.
