We are expanding our community clinical services in Bolton and are recruiting motivated Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to support ENT, Gynaecology, and Dermatology clinics operating across the region. This is a 0 hour contract, ideal for HCAs who want flexibility while gaining experience across multiple outpatient specialties. You will work alongside consultants, specialist nurses and clinic teams to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care in community settings. This role offers excellent exposure to three clinical areas and is perfect for individuals looking to broaden their skills and progress within community healthcare.
What you will do:
- Prepare clinic rooms and equipment for ENT, Gynaecology, and Dermatology assessments
- Act as chaperone during consultations and minor procedures
- Support in minor procedures and handling scopes
- Support patients before, during and after their clinic appointment
- Assist with administrative duties, including recording patient outcomes and supporting clinic flow
- Maintain stock levels, clinical supplies and ensure clinic spaces remain safe and organised
- Travel to community clinic sites across Bolton as required
- Provide flexible availability to support weekday and weekend clinics
Our services operate 7 days per week, with shifts typically between 07:00 - 18:00, depending on clinic needs.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker (NHS or private sector)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced outpatient or community environments
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- IT literate
- Willing to travel across multiple Bolton clinic sites
- Able to offer flexibility in shift availability (0 hour contract)
You will receive a structured induction and specialty-specific training across ENT, Gynaecology and Dermatology.
