The Role
We are seeking a part-qualified Junior Management Accountant to join our expanding finance team. This hands-on role will support the full monthly finance cycle across a multi-entity group structure and offers broad exposure across management accounting, financial control, revenue analysis, and statutory processes. Working closely with senior members of the finance team, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting commercial insight as the business continues its rapid growth. This role offers excellent development opportunities and a clear pathway to progress in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End & Financial Control
- Preparing payroll reconciliations and posting journals
- Preparing accruals and deferred income entries
- Completing COS (Cost of Sales) accruals
- Managing fixed asset accounting and maintaining the fixed asset register
- Performing balance sheet and COS reconciliations
- Supporting accounting for holding companies and smaller group entities
- Assisting with VAT returns and associated reporting requirements
- Maintaining the Contract Tracker with accurate and timely updates
- Carrying out monthly revenue, COS, and margin analysis
- Identifying and analysing exceptional or one-off items
- Preparing and supporting monthly and quarterly framework submissions
- Conducting adhoc analysis to support commercial insight and decision-making
About You
Essential
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
- Strong Excel proficiency and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational capability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within a scaling finance function
