As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. You will also take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.

The service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work five out of seven days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 and 17:30/18:00. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to various site locations.

You will be enrolled in a 2-week comprehensive training course from day one of employment, which will equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to fulfil your duties as a Healthcare Assistant. The position is subject to a successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure at the appropriate level and the provision of your right-to-work documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect stock and equipment for the clinic and set up examination rooms for clinicians.
  • Act as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures.
  • Ensure all administrative reports are completed with outcomes and provide support related to administrative tasks.
  • Support the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for patients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Driving Licence and own vehicle to visit multiple clinic sites.
  • Previous experience in administration is preferable but not essential.
  • IT literate with proficiency in using computer systems and software.
  • Show a great passion for providing high-quality care and take pride in your work.
  • Successful DBS disclosure at the appropriate level and right-to-work documentation.
  • Enrolled in a 2-week comprehensive training course from day one of employment.
Benefits:
  • Full time, permanent contract.
  • Monday to Sunday (covering 5 days per week). Shift patterns 07:00/07:30 – 17:30/18:00.
  • 40 hours per week (including travel time).
  • Starting salary: Β£26,101 with potential to increase to Β£27,601 upon training and signing off in additional disciplines (Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology etc.).
  • Travel allowance: 45p per mile.
  • Ongoing support and training – opportunity to progress to NVQ Level 3.
