Overview
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is an international organisation & registered NDIS provider specialising in Core Supports providing In Home and Community Access support to NDIS participants.
We are currently experiencing high demand for our NDIS Clients and looking for committed and energetic Disability Support Worker to join our team and service our clients in an ongoing roster in the following area:
- Sydney CBD
- Surry Hills
- Miranda
- St Andrews
- Lilyfield
- Roselands
- Liverpool
- Penrith
- Thornleigh
Role
You will be supporting clients with Mental Health, Physical and Intellectual Disabilities within their home and in the community in a 1:1 setting. We have varieties of short and long shifts with ongoing roster and your duties may include:
- Personal care, Domestic assistance, Community Access, Manual Handling
- Manage accurate and detailed shift reports including progress notes and incident reports
- Medication administration, meal preparation, Diabetes management, Epilepsy management, PEG Feeding, Bladder & Bowel Care
Salary & Benefits
- Pay starting from $35-$44 per hour (depending on qualification and experience) and up to $92 on public holiday

Criteria
- Minimum 6 months paid experience supporting individuals living with disabilities
- Minimum Cert III or higher in relevant field
- 2 Covid-19 Vaccination Doses
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Working with children check & NDIS Worker Check
- Driver licence and own comprehensively insured car preferred
