HealthCrest Services Limited is a growing healthcare staffing and domiciliary care startup based in Chester. We are currently preparing for CQC registration and are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager / CQC Compliance Lead to support the setup and development of the business during its initial growth phase. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about building high-quality care services and wants to play a key role in shaping a growing organisation from the beginning.

Role Overview

We are looking for a part-time experienced care professional with strong knowledge of CQC standards, compliance, recruitment, and operational setup within the health and social care sector. Initially, the role will be on a flexible part-time basis during the CQC registration and setup phase, with strong potential to transition into a permanent/full-time position as the business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CQC registration process
  • Assist with policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  • Help prepare the organisation for CQC inspection
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of care staff
  • Assist with operational setup and governance
  • Provide guidance on safeguarding and best practice
  • Help establish quality assurance systems
  • Support business development and care coordination activities where required

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in domiciliary care or healthcare management
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Experience preparing for or managing CQC inspections
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and support a growing startup environment

Working Pattern

Flexible part-time arrangement initially: Approximately 1–3 days weekly OR flexible hourly arrangement. Potential for permanent/full-time role following CQC approval and business growth.
