Health Information Technician

Test-IN–

Locates and distributes charts for all phone and printed requests. Maintains loose sheet file and nurses notes files. Merges hospital papers with clinic charts. Files loose sheets. Sends out transcribed reports to physicians/departments. Answers phones as necessary. Processes daily computer reports. Education requirements high school degree or equivalent; Associated Degree preferred. Experience in health information technology or medical secretarial skills preferred.
