As a Pharmacist at our hospital, you’ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. It’s also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimising medication therapy and promoting safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug use within the hospital. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes and minimise medication-related problems.

As a Pharmacist, you will:

  • Join our talented multidisciplinary team
  • Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it’s needed
  • Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
  • Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilisation reviews
  • Document clinical interventions and outcomes
  • Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs
  • Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors

As a Pharmacist, you will have:
