As a member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care, helping us deliver an exceptional experience at every stage of the journey. As a Pharmacy Technician at Pharmacierge, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care and safety.
We are actively seeking Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians (ACTs) to join our dynamic team. Please Note: Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately against prescriptions, following pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK pharmacy regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non-clinical queries within your scope of practice.
- Apply the skills and knowledge gained through your NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician training to actively support the wider Pharmacierge team, including contributing to the training and development of dispensary and support staff.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
- Support safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns related to medication safety.
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council).
- Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Candidates who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will also be considered.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.
