We are looking for a dynamic and amazing Medical PA to join our team on a full-time, employed basis. The focus of this role will be to support several consultants across a variety of specialities, to provide professional medical PA and secretarial support to the consultants (clients) of Designated Medical. You will perform secretarial duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital or clinic procedures to support consultants on a remote basis from your own home office.

You will support consultants by:

  • screening and sorting email, documents, and telephone calls;
  • scheduling patient appointments and arranging referrals;
  • liaising with billing firms to ensure they have enough information to raise invoices and collect money;
  • preparing medical reports, patient histories, operative notes, manuscripts, and correspondence;
  • maintaining office files and patient records.

No audio typing.

  • Must be able to manage multiple consultants across various specialities.
  • Must have experience in Private Practice.
  • Experience of any of the following: DGL, Semble (Heydoc), Carebit, Cliniko is essential.
  • Collaborative team player, willing to help other colleagues in downtime.
  • Customer Service – ability to be helpful and reassuring in dealing with patients.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Technically astute and able to grasp new software/applications easily.
  • Attention to detail, work accurately and methodically.
  • Strong relationship builder, with the ability to work and build rapport with all types of people.
  • Highly motivated.
