Overview
As a Laundry Worker you will ensure that all linens and personal clothing items are properly collected, sorted, washed, dried, folded, and distributed. You will also maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor. Infection control and universal precautions policies must be followed to maintain a sanitary environment.
Pay Rate USD $13.00 - $13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work around cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Residency within the service area required.
