To carry out a Sitting Service in a service user’s own home. We cover the whole of East Ayrshire. These calls are carried out in blocks of hours for our clients. No personal care, moving or handling, or medication is involved with this service.
Duties:
To provide a high standard, person-centered of Support to clients at all times in a non-judgmental or discriminatory manner
Providing a positive and friendly approach to Clients in their own homes and respectful of their wishes at all times with a \”can-do\” attitude
Communicating with our clients at all levels and being able to problem-solve at times to assist them with any concerns
Ability to work on own initiative, being reliable and flexible to meet the needs of our Clients
To be extremely reliable, friendly and sociable with our Clients
Ensure written records and care plans are maintained and updated where applicable
Interacting and communicating with the people that you support in a way that promotes dignity, choice and respect at all times
Assisting with basic meal preparation for the service users we support
Work as part of a team at all times and respectful of the service users’ homes within which you will be working
Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the clients, whilst maintaining your own health and safety in accordance with our Health and Safety Regulations
