As our new Director of Public Health, you’ll be the lead advisor across Salford’s health system on all matters relating to public health and population health and wellbeing, with accountability to the Chief Executive/GM NHS Salford Place Based Lead; and direct reporting lines to the Executive Director for Adults Social Care and Health Partnerships.
You’ll lead a well-respected, multi-professional team of dedicated staff and be a vital part of the council’s senior leadership team. You’ll target health inequalities with a relentless improvement drive, building on excellent relationships with NHS partners, other key agencies and the people of Salford. Together, you’ll come up with innovative solutions to deliver better health for all.
We’re looking for an inspiring leader who can motivate and unite teams and communities. With a proven track record of strategic leadership and success, you’ll bring experience in driving change that has a lasting positive impact.
