The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for an individual who has specialist knowledge of property and property processes and who has a professional, positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work to join our Land Management Team.

We have recently undertaken a review of the best ways to attract great candidates into our team and we want to highlight the opportunities available at the Council to offer our officers great work-life balance. WHAT IS INVOLVED?

You will be senior member of a team responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Strategic Property Management service focusing on the Council\’s portfolio of rural and reclamation land. You will ensure pro‑active management of the Council’s estate ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day management, use and occupation of the estate and working with the wider team identifying opportunities for rationalisation and/or disposal.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

  • To be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • A relevant professional qualification and Full Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
  • Evidence of continued professional development

You will have experience of managing a range of property related functions and staff, including valuation, estate management, acquisitions, disposals, leasing/letting, covenants, compensation and stakeholder management.
