The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 ÂŁ per year.

We apply a career grade system to our Occupational Therapist roles, meaning your starting salary will depend on your competencies, experience, and qualifications. We then support staff to progress through the career grade in line with their development against the requirements at each step of the grade. We encourage the right balance of skills and experience across our teams within Adult Social Care and welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced candidates for these roles.

About this opportunity

We have exciting opportunities to join our dedicated and supportive Occupational Therapy Teams across Westmorland and Furness, as an Occupational Therapist (Cross Service). You will provide flexible support to cover long‑term absences and help reduce agency usage, which means you may move between teams, across all locations within the Westmorland and Furness footprint, as and when required. This will include covering the South Lakes, Furness, and Eden areas. This cross‑service approach gives you the opportunity to broaden your experience, develop your professional skills, and make a meaningful contribution across a diverse range of needs. We’re looking for experienced, person‑centred Occupational Therapists who want to make a real difference across our Adult Social Care teams. You’ll bring a clear understanding of the legislation and local priorities that shape our work, along with the confidence to apply this in a practical, supportive way. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential, as is a commitment to strength‑based, person‑centred practice that helps people live well and stay independent.
