We’re looking for a caring and innovative Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at Sancta Maria Hospital, Swansea. This part‑time, 30‑hour per week role offers an opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting adult health services and delivering high‑standard hospital care.

Responsibilities

  • Use your experience of care delivery to undertake delegated nursing tasks within agreed parameters set by Department Heads.
  • Apply clinical competencies relevant to your speciality in accordance with HMT policies and procedures.
  • Organise and prioritise your workload under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, demonstrating effective time‑management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications and credit framework (QCF) or equivalent Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2, including GCSE Maths and English.
  • Experience of care delivery: basic nursing care, basic wound care, bladder & bowel care, moving and handling, skin and nutritional assessments, infection prevention & control, and safeguarding awareness.
