Part‑time Theatre Support Worker (27.5 h per week) at St Hugh’s Hospital, Grimsby (Peaks Lane, DN32 9RP, United Kingdom).
Responsibilities
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver adult health services, focusing on inpatient and outpatient care. You will undertake delegated nursing tasks within agreed parameters and work within clinical competencies relevant to the surgical area, following HMT policies and procedures.
Main duties include:
- Basic nursing care
- Basic wound care
- Bladder and bowel care
- Moving and handling
- Skin and nutritional assessments
- Infection prevention and control
- Safeguarding awareness
- Organise and prioritise own workload under supervision of a Registered Nurse
Qualifications & Experience
Experience of care delivery in a healthcare setting, including basic nursing, wound, bladder/bowel management and infection prevention. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and to manage time effectively.
