Glenabbey Manor is a friendly, safe and welcoming residential and dementia care home, with provision for up to 76 residents. The modern accommodation at Glenabbey Manor is spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed, with easy accessibility enabling residents to move around safely. Our private bedrooms spaces are fully furnished, with a flat screen TV and en-suite shower room as standard. Residents may bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be a member of the support services team. Your main responsibilities will be to maintain the cleanliness of specific areas within the care home to the highest standards. This includes carrying out housekeeping duties efficiently and in a timely manner. Your daily tasks may involve working in the laundry, ensuring residents' rooms are clean and organised, and making beds when necessary. It is important to have good teamwork skills in this role.

We are looking for a skilled Domestic Assistant who can confidently maintain high standards of work. You should be able to organise and prioritise your tasks effectively. It's important for our Domestic Assistants to be proactive, flexible, and a great team player. We also value a willingness to learn and grow, as you will need to participate in training activities to enhance your skills and knowledge for a safe and efficient performance in your role.
