About the role:

As a Care Assistant with Kathryn Homes, you will join a dedicated team united by a profound desire to positively impact the lives of our residents. We are seeking Care Assistants who are wholeheartedly devoted to supporting our residents in embracing life to the fullest, promoting independence within a kind and compassionate setting. Your commitment to enhancing the well-being and happiness of those in our care is truly valued and appreciated.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
