Join the Team at Carlingford Lodge Care Home located in the picturesque port town of Warrenpoint, nestled at the head of Carlingford Lough and just five miles south of Newry. Carlingford Lodge Care Home offers a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Our home provides nursing care for 58 residents across three specialised units: General Nursing, Dementia Nursing, and General Residential.
The role of a Registered Nurse in our services is a key position in our mission to provide excellent and inclusive care. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, playing a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver excellent care to our residents; as a Registered Nurse, you will support the management of shifts, ensuring the safety of all residents and our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering person centred care to each resident
- Assess and monitor the physical health of residents within care plans
- Offer support and supervise all care staff or new recruits
- Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care
- Complying with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager
