The Home Join the Dedicated Team at Pond Park Care Home Located on the peaceful outskirts of Lisburn, Pond Park Care Home is set in a beautiful rural setting and offers a warm, supportive environment for residents and staff alike. Our 52-bed home is spread across three specialised units, providing General Nursing and Dementia Nursing care. Staff from a variety of cultural backgrounds bring together a wealth of experience, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care built on trust, respect, and friendship. The Role You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents. As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life. Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities. Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour. Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
