A local family gifted the home to The Salvation Army in the 1960's. Since then it hasbeen used for the care of older people.

Downstairs is for older people who do not have a diagnosis of dementia but require care. Within we are able to offer end of life care for two residents.

The home is divided into 6 small group living setting comprising of ensuite bedroom dining and lounge areas . There are large communal lounges, a cinema room, hairdressing room and spacious corridors, pleasantly decorated and well maintained. The beautiful gardens are a focal point, easily accessed and well used throughout the year. We have access to a local adjoining park.
