The Home Willow Grove is a beautiful, modern care home situated in Dungannon. Our spacious home has a team of talented, highly-skilled professionals and provides person-centred residential care for older people, including those living with dementia. The Willow Grove team are proud of their strong links with the local community, ensuring our residents have all that they need, whilst their health and wellbeing is well-tended to. We create a comfortable home-from-home environment, where residents can feel safe and relaxed.
The facilities available within the home are designed to enable residents to be as independent as possible, with the benefit of 24 hour care support provided around the clock by fully trained, kind and compassionate carers, delivering their services with the utmost dignity and respect. Our sociable amenities for residents to enjoy include a variety of comfortable lounges and dining areas. The private bedrooms are fully-furnished, all with en-suite facilities, and residents are able to bring their own home accessories and furniture to personalise their room and make it their own space.
The Role
Each of our Homes has a Maintenance person, who is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of residents and team members. This is a varied role and a key member of the team. With each repair and maintenance task, you’re not just fixing things; you’re supporting the team in providing excellent care to our residents in their Home. The Maintenance person is essential in ensuring we can provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents where they feel at home.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a well-decorated, safe, and comfortable environment in and outside of the Home.
- Ensures that Healthcare Ireland’s minimum standards are delivered in all units.
- Identifies and reports damage, faults, and other related issues to line manager.
- Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance in order that maintenance schedules can be on time.
- Deliver bloods, collect scripts and drive to suppliers when needed.
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.

Required Criteria:
- The Right to Work in the UK
- A minimum of a year’s experience in a maintenance or similar role
- Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirements
- Valid UK driving license and use of a car for company business
Desired Criteria:
- Keyboard and PC skills with a basic level of proficiency for the standard range of office applications such as Word and Excel
