The Home Carlisle Court is a wonderfully positioned, purpose built residential care home in County Antrim, Belfast. Our new beautifully refurbished home will operate independently to the nursing home, City View Court. The home benefits from beautiful 60 en-suite bedrooms, complemented by a range of enclosed gardens and courtyards. Here at Carlisle Court, we offer professional, person-centred residential care that focuses on betterment, rehabilitation and maximum independence. The home has an array of communal spaces, including large lounges, well-positioned dining areas and access to kitchenettes and quiet spaces. Residents are very welcome to bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home. Our facilities are designed to enable residents to be as independent as possible with the assistance of 24-hour care. With views stretching across the North of the city, Carlisle Court is positioned right in the heart of North and West Belfast and will aim to ensure residents remain part of the wider community, with a focus on occupational activity, volunteering and partnership.

About the role: As a Care Team Leader at Kathryn Homes, you'll be all about professionalism, kindness, and compassion. The Care Team Leader role requires you to plan and provide high-quality care that makes our residents feel safe, respected, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they are keeping up with the highest care standards. Keeping accurate records and communicating well with your colleagues are key parts of your role. Our Care Team Leaders also support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, giving physical, social, and emotional care to residents. You will handle medication and make sure everything is in order with medication audits.

About you: We are seeking a dynamic Care Team Leader who excels in person-centred care planning, possesses expertise in dementia care, and has experience of leading teams to deliver exceptional care. The ideal Care Team Leader will exude a positive energy, be competent in building strong relationships, and demonstrate outstanding organisational skills.

This is a Full time role. Day and Night shifts. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Required Criteria:

  • Medications experience within care setting
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous Care Experience
  • Hold a level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
