Healthcare Ireland Group is looking for a full‑time Care Assistant to work the Night Shift 8pm‑8am, 44 hours a week. Location: Ballymena, Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, eating and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote residents’ quality of life.
- Encourage residents’ independence and involvement in activities where possible.
- Use appropriate techniques and equipment for moving and handling residents.
- Monitor residents’ well‑being and report any changes in health or behaviour to the nursing team.
- Follow tailored care plans to ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK.
- Strong communication skills with compassion to deliver high‑quality care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Non‑judgemental approach to others and respectful of residents and team values.
- Good standard of oral and written English.
- Experience in Health and Social Care preferred, full training provided.
- Educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2 desirable.
