The Home Clareview Private Nursing Home is conveniently situated on the Doagh Road, a short distance from Ballyclare Town Centre. We offer 24 hour nursing care based on an individual assessment of needs. We have genuine concern for the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of our residents and offer a consistently high standard of care delivered by an experienced and competent staff team. The Role

  • We are looking for 1 Full time day shift and 1 full time nightshift.
  • You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported.
  • As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
  • As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion.
  • Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
  • Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
  • Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria

  • Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
